Uttrakhand Janmanch's crusade against corruption
Uttrakhand Janmanch began his campaign against corrupt practices of Nishank Government on 17 July 2011 at Rulek audotourium in Dehradun. It was first time when somebody publically opposed the corruption of then Chief Minister Ramesh Pokhariyal Nishank. It was the time when no body was dare to launch a stir against the corruption of the C.M. including Congress, BSP and UKD . Uttrakhand Janmanch convened a seminar on corruption to unite the people against corruption. Large number of people and well-known dignities from walks of life attended the seminar and pledged to participate a campaign against corruption. Gadhwali Folk Singer Narendra Singh Negi, Lt. General rtd T.P.S. Rawat,renowned Economist Prof N.S.Bist, theatre artist and famous poet Atul Sharma, Former Horticulture Director Dr B.P.Nautiyal, senior journalist from Mumbai Keshar Singh Bist,Ravindra Jugran, L.R. Kothiyal, trade union leader B.P. Mamgain, L.R. Bijlwan and leftist leader Sher Singh Rana were among the dignities who were present in the seminar.
